From 2001 till 2010 “Real Presence” shaped its character as open and dynamic platform for upcoming generations of artists coming from different cultural backgrounds and working in a wide variety of media and expressive languages.
In 10 editions “Real Presence” involved young artists and students of renowned professors such as artists: Marina Abramovic, Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Thomas Bayrele, Monica Bonvicini, Daniel Buren, Peter Cook, Ajse Erkmen, Luciano Fabro, Renée Green, Zaha Hadid, Peter Kogler, Jannis Kounellis, Brigitte Kowanz, Elke Krystufek, Mark Leckey, Jorge Orta, Manfred Pernice, Tobias Rehberger, Jason Rhoades, Klaus Rinke, Willem De Rooij, Eva Schlegel, Katharina Sieverding, Andreas Slominski, Simon Starling, Wolfgang Tillmans, Heimo Zobernig, Victoria Vesna, Peter Weibel, Erwin Wurm and curators and art historians as Carlos Basualdo, Iara Boubnova, Sarat Maharaj, Edi Muka, Angela Vettese, as well as many others and therefore can be considered the biggest international workshop that operated in the Balkan area.
